Road Agent

The Road Agent is in charge of managing the town’s roads, such as: making road repairs (both emergency and scheduled), maintaining ditches, culverts, and trees along roads to ensure proper drainage and functionality, as well as summer and winter maintenance of the town’s roughly 8-mile-network of roads.

If you have any road issue to report, such as a downed tree, wash-out or other storm damage, you can contact the road agent directly at the number listed in the CONTACT section.

Please note that private roads as well as Class VI roads do not fall under the road agent’s responsibility; neither do the roads maintained by the State of NH that lie within town limits.
