Road Agent

As of spring 2025, the Town once again has a dedicated road agent to manage the town’s roads. This includes both summer and winter maintenance of the town’s roughly 8-mile-network of roads.

The road agent will also be in charge of road repairs (both emergency and scheduled), as well as maintaining ditches, culverts, and trees along roads to ensure proper drainage and functionality.

If you have any road issue to report, such as a downed tree, wash-out or other storm damage, you can contact the road agent directly at the number listed in the CONTACT section.

Please note that private roads as well as Class VI roads do not fall under the road agent’s responsibility; neither do the roads maintained by the State of NH that lie within town limits.
